We couldn't agree more which is why we have invited Simeon & heaven to Hampshire this October for a week-long Cheese Fest (aka celebration of all things cheesy).
We won't lie, lately we've been worried about the local fishermen. Brexit pressures, disrupted supply chains and lowered demand due to COVID-19 has had us wringing our hands and saying, "We must buy more local fish!"
This aromatic grape variety makes some of the world's finest vino bianco in a variety of complex, fruity & lime-licked styles, the best of which will age brilliantly. Just like we mortals, right?
The key ingredient – these raw leaves with their pungent smell but delicate and sweet flavour – are one of the most easy-to-find edibles on your daily walks right now. We have an abundance of it in our farm shop so why not pop in and grab a bunch or order online and give it a go yourself?
As a valued Applegarth customer, we want you to be the first to hear about our new web-based takeaway ordering portal which is launching on Wednesday 31 March.
Providing all our customers with a first-class experience that will be accessible from our Applegarth website, ordering a hot food takeaway will be easier than ever.
Please note that this will replace our existing Takeaway App, which will be retiring from Sunday 28 March.
Following todays announcement, the light feels like it's getting much bigger at the end of that tunnel. Schools are almost back. Local businesses will be reopening their doors soon. Restaurants too. Real, actual dates to look forward to. Hoot, hoot! That's the sound of me, pulling into Celebration Station.
So (drum roll...) Subject to government restrictions being eased inline with todays roadmap, our restaurant will reopen on Monday 12 April for bookings outside in our Kitchen Garden & Terrace area. You can make a booking by clicking here, safe in the knowledge that we will have all the necessary safety precautions in place and that all reservations can be moved should the roadmap alter again (fingers, toes & everything crossed it won't).
Lockdown deja vu or not, we have well and truly shaken the dust off our boots from 2020 and would like to wish you a healthy & prosperous 2021.
No doubt you have now heard the news that most of Surrey, with the exception of Waverley, is moving to Tier 3 effective from Saturday morning.
While we are sorry for all those businesses adversely affected, we are incredibly grateful that our restaurant doors remain open so that we can honour the reservations many of you have made between now and the New Year. So for those of you that are visiting us between now and January, we look forward to making the festive season as special as we can for you.
Applegarth is delighted to launch a new Buy To Give This Christmas scheme, donating a pack of Homemade Mince Pies to Haslemere Food Bank for every 3 packs of Mince Pies purchased.
