Lockdown deja vu or not, we have well and truly shaken the dust off our boots from 2020 and would like to wish you a healthy & prosperous 2021.
The Christmas period may have felt more 'no, no, no' than a 'ho, ho ho' and let’s face it, we’re not out of the woods yet. However, there is hope on the horizon and so we're starting this new year with a fresh & positive perspective. The pledge that the most vulnerable will receive their vaccinations over the next few months means that we can look forward to being able to welcome you safely into our restaurant again soon, without the worry of our NHS being overwhelmed. This feels good.
In the meantime, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the Applegarth experience from the comfort and safety of your home. Our Hot Food Takeaway and Delivery & Collection Service for Online Shoppers continues to operate every Wednesday to Sunday and we will keep you updated as the tiering situation changes.
There's no doubt, we face a challenging few months ahead and Applegarth will continue to fundraise into 2021 for two fantastic causes: providing our local food bank with fresh fruit & veg and NHS key workers with hot takeaway meals straight from our restaurant kitchen.
If you would like to get involved then you can make a donation via our Applegarth At Home website & Takeaway App by adding an 'Invisible Apple' to your order. Simply checkout as usual then we'll match your donation and distribute 100% of the Apple funds raised. Each Invisible Apple is worth £1.
There's no doubt, there are many individuals and services that need support at this time and we will continue to fundraise in this way for as long as the current lockdown is in place and your orders keep coming.
