Created using a traditional family recipe, our spicy peanut sauce has flavour notes of lemongrass and galangal running through it.
Usually served as a dipping sauce for satay, it also makes an excellent salad dressing.
A good sauce but I missed the peanuts! I liked it but will say it was a tad too sweet and sour for me as I was hoping for a more authentic Nyonya taste with more heat and ginger and galangal in it. Still a good one but I’ve added anchovy paste (to add a more blachan taste) and chilli.
