This is the nicest and tastiest Rye bread there is. We always look forward to the next delivery of the Donker Rye loaf. It is so much better than anything that is available at supermarkets.
It is so refreshing to be able to get some decent non - polystyrene supermarket bread! All the soudough range is good.
The SODT bread stocked at Applegarth is truly amazing. We order weekly (putting some in the freezer) and would go to great lengths to obtain this bread (produced by the Hygge Bakery) to ensure it's apart of our daily diets. Our recommendations are the Corn Bread and the Donker.... Ask for them to be pre-sliced and once you've tried them you will not go back to the cheap supermarket stuff!
